LIBRARY/ARCHIVES We have a small Library/Archives containing ledgers from Readfield businesses from the 1800's and early 1900's, Town Reports for Readfield, the earliest of which dates from xxxx, as well as an assortment of Town Reports from Mt. Vernon and Belgrade.  We also have: For historical research help, Evelyn Potter is our Historian, and she can be reached by calling 207-685-3812 or emailing her at evpotter@mailstation.com. For genealogical research, we are fortunate to have two ladies who are experts.  They are:  Doreen Crocker, who can be reached at eldriverd@aol.com, and Bev Newton, PO Box 62, Burnham, ME 04922. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, and our people do research on their own time, we ask that you make a donation to the Society in exchange for their work.
